Upon arrival at the hotel around 11 pm, I found the room wasn't ready, and being close to the main road made it quite noisy. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers excellent value, though the view could use some updating.
Rooms
7.0
The room wasn't ready when I tried to check-in, and the location close to the main road caused noise disturbances. However, in terms of value, the room was of excellent quality but could benefit from an update in decor. The view from the room was poor.
Service
7.0
The service provided, including a welcome drink, was satisfactory during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was great, being easy to find and within a walkable distance of the village. Despite being on a busy road and facing the check-in desk directly, it's conveniently situated just outside Alderley Edge, making it attractive for relaxation and proximity to Alderley Edge and Wilmslow.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience wasn't great value for the price paid, and the location was acceptable. While the option for fresh fruit salad was missing, the standout feature was the superb waitress who provided excellent freshly-cooked food and made the experience enjoyable.

The hotel was overpriced due to the tiny, extremely hot rooms that front the road. However, it was convenient to travel with our granddaughter to see Frozen on Ice at Manchester.
Rooms

The rooms were tiny and desperately in need of renovation. They were extremely hot on a warm summer's day and facing the road.

The hotel is right on the edge of Alderley Edge, just outside Alderley Edge, and within walking distance to the village. It is conveniently located between Wilmslow and Alderley Edge, offering free parking for guests. It's a great spot for easy access to the airport and a short walk to restaurants and bars.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited to only cereal and croissants, with cold dishes. However, there was one standout waitress who provided excellent service and freshly-cooked food.
Facilities

The hotel offers limited facilities, but the excellent location compensates for it.

The hotel had the potential to be lovely but was let down by a few things. It was nice and clean, but there was an issue with the curtains letting in too much light from the exterior. The location was great, easy to find and within 15 minutes walk of the village. The dining experience was adequate, and the waitress was superb. The facilities were nice, and there was a welcome drink upon arrival.
